Those of us fortunate enough to live on or near the shores
of Ford Lake have discovered a rare jewel among Michigan lakes. Nestled in the
unspoiled woods of Mason County, East of the village of Fountain Michigan, Ford
Lake is known locally for its deep, clean waters and stable fishery. Year-round
and seasonal residents enjoy a setting that is peaceful most of the time, and
bustling with friends and families during peak holiday times. We chose to invest
in our homes here because Ford Lake is so unique in it's beauty, clarity, and
tranquility.
The Ford Lake Association of Property Owners is dedicated to
preserving these qualities that we all value so much: clean, clear waters, a
friendly atmosphere, and a safe environment where neighbors help neighbors.
This directory is a tool to help us know our neighbors, learn about Ford Lake and how
we can protect it, and to help us all use this beautiful resource in a manner
